Alder Manor has welcomed film, television and fashion crews for decades, with paneled rooms, ornamental ceilings and stone terraces thirty minutes from Columbus Circle.
Credits include A Beautiful Mind, Mona Lisa Smile, Boardwalk Empire, Mr. Robot and Inventing Anna.
The legacy
In 2025 Gigi Hadid was photographed here for Vogue's April issue, and the house appears in HBO's The Gilded Age.
Designed in 1912 by Carrère & Hastings, the architects of the New York Public Library, its rooms read as Europe on camera, just north of the city.
The experience
Scouts are welcome by appointment. We plan prep, shoot and wrap days, holds and load-in with your locations team, and point you to the Yonkers film permit process.
Stills, editorial and campaign days are as welcome as feature and series work.
